Walking on the Water

Walking on the Water (2009)

Walking on the Water was a durational performance installation that consisted of a pool of water and three dancers. Together, the movement of the water and the slow and meditative movements of the dancers created a continuously changing image that juxtaposed the rhythm of the surrounding environment.

The installation was performed once a day during a one-week period in summer 2009. Each day, it was set up in a slightly different environment, either inside the lobby of the museum or outside in the yard.
